 This months Feature Vendor is Jack Curboy owner/operator of "Jack's Workshop". Jack is a retired teacher of 41 years. You may recognize him from his time at the Webster and Grafton flea markets, he is now with us at Talbert Marketplace. Jack has a great love of traveling and going in search of unique and beautiful gemstones. Jack has traveled the world extensively to places like Italy,Poland,Egypt and Turkey and makes yearly buying trips to find the gems that go into his hand-made jewelry. He enjoys haggling with the natives and finding the most unique stones that can be made into one-of-a-kind pieces. Jack's son John and daughter Bettie are gifted in the art of jewelry making and are jewelers in Vermont and the Southwest. When Jack returns from his buying trips he sends the stones to John and Bettie who take each stone to make one of a kind pieces that are beautiful! Custom pieces can be made for that special occaision upon request. Jack has also started trying his hand at making a few pieces himself. He also carries a collection of flags of different countries including Latin America, Ireland, Poland and many more. His prices are very reasonable and he offers multi-purchase discounts on his merchandise.
